Primary breakdown

Log processing, sawing, and custom cutting

01

Log Processing

Logs of varied girth and length are received, graded, and staged for breakdown so each log is set up to yield the most usable timber.

02

Sawing

High-tolerance sawing on the headrig and resaw line converts logs into boards and cants with consistent thickness across the run.

03

Custom Cutting

Cross-sections, lengths, and profiles are cut to project specifications, giving construction and fabrication teams accurate pieces for their schedules.

Dressing and inspection

Sizing, drying, finishing, and quality control

Each stage after sawing is controlled so the timber leaves the mill dimensionally stable and ready for use.

Sizing

Precision sizing

Boards are planed and sized to defined tolerances, so thickness, width, and straightness match the schedule for each order.

Drying

Controlled kiln drying

Kiln schedules are set by species and section, bringing moisture content down to target levels to limit movement after installation.

Finishing and QC

Surface finishing and inspection

Multi-head planing and surface treatments are followed by quality control checks on dimension, moisture, and surface before dispatch.
